Launching of e-Work Permit Portal

In the context of the implementation of the e-Work Permit System, the Ministry of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment has launched the e-Work Permit Portal – and the Online Applicant Registration on 30 September 2014.

Prior to undertaking any transaction on the e-Work Permit Portal, Applicants are required to register on the Portal as follows:


STEP (1) – Fill in the Online Applicant Registration Form

The Registration Form should be filled in after agreeing to the “Terms and Conditions” and selecting the Type of Applicant. Necessary documents should be scanned and submitted. Please check ‘Help” on the portal for guidance.


STEP (2) - Verification and Validation of Registration

One of the Directors/Authorised Users of the e-Work Permit Portal as designated in the online Applicant Registration Form has to call in person at the nearest Employment Information Centre (EIC) to sign the Form.  A username and password will thereafter be issued to Applicants for accessing the e-Work Permit Portal in due course.
